Targeting 500+ Ranks of QS AUR by Subject, FEB Unesa Conducts Visiting Professor Program

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (FEB Unesa) held an online visiting professor program on Friday, May 7, 2021. This program was held in order to realize the vision of a reputable FEB in Southeast Asia in the fields of Economic, Economics and Business Education in 2023 .

According to the Dean of FEB Unesa Anang Kistyanto, one of the indicators of achieving the Vision of a reputable FEB in Southeast Asia is to get a 500+ rank in the QS AUR (Asia University Rank) by Subject Business and Management.

Academic reputation, employer reputation, paper and citation, student ratio, international student, and international faculty are ranking instruments for the QS Word University Rank and the QS Asia University Rank. This instrument has been referred to in compiling the 2020-2024 FEB Unesa Strategic Plan (Renstra) and has become a reference in compiling a strategic plan and work program.

"Internationalization of faculties and study programs is an important, urgent and priority matter. With the strong determination of the entire academic community of FEB Unesa, including students of the International Program, insha Allah, we are sure that this vision can be achieved, "he added.

As an effort to achieve this vision, the FEB Unesa International Class Program, conducted an international visiting professor by presenting Prof. Zulnaidi Yaacob from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) which is one of the reputable universities in Malaysia with a ranking of # 142 QS World University Rankings and # 34 Asian University Rankings.

"This activity is an implementation to support and succeed in international accreditation, improve the academic reputation of FEB Unesa in Southeast Asia and the world, as well as to achieve the IKU PT that has been targeted by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia". He concluded.
